Bookmark and Share

Camden Wilcott collected three hits, helping Bluejays to a 4-0 victory over Bishop McGuinness on Tuesday.

He singled in the second and third innings and doubled in the fifth inning.

Bluejays’ Reed Roberts kept Bishop McGuiness off the scoreboard for all seven innings he was on the rubber. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on four hits while ringing up seven.

Jacob Lawton couldn’t get it done on the hill for Bishop McGuinness, taking a loss. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed no runs.

The game’s last lead went to Bluejays thanks to a first inning rally that saw one run cross the plate on an RBI triple by Roberts.
