The BlueJays built up two 15-point margin leads only to see Ponca City not only come back, but take the lead late in the fourth quarter.

The Wildcats grabbed their first lead, 44-43, with 2:23 in the fourth quarter after trailing 29-14. However, they did not have it long as senior guard Edgar Baez drilled a crucial 3-point shot to give the Jays the lead back for good.

Guthrie improves to 3-3 on the year with the 53-46 win.

The Jays were again led in the scoring department from junior L’liott Curry (19) and Baez (16). Curry got the hot hand going in the second half by scoring 13 points.
