Bryan Dutton represented Guthrie one last time when he wrestled for the West in the All State games on Wednesday at Bixby High School. Bryan Dutton
Dutton was one of 9 athletes to earn All State honors in two different sports this past athletic calendar after being named to the All-State team in baseball. He defeated Shawnee’s Corey Todd 4-1 in his final high school match for the All-State win.

Along with the win, Dutton was one of four nominated for the wrestler of the year.

Dutton leaves a story book career in Guthrie with a 130-13 career wrestling record and is the schools only four-time state Placer. The 130 career wins represents the most ever by a GHS wrestler. He placed third his freshman season, claimed the state title as a sophomore, again finished third the following year before finishing up as state runner-up as a senior.

Along with his all-state status in both sports, Dutton finished as a four-year starter for the Jays in football, including quarterbacking the team to the 2011 state championship. He holds nearly every single season and career passing record at GHS, including 7,915 career passing yards, 102 passing scores.

Perhaps, even more impressive was that Dutton never missed one football start. His four-year career record of 43-9 and a playoff record of 9-3 will be hard to ever duplicate.

So, you’ve already outlined your plan to adopt the new GHS regulations. Now that you’ve started the ball rolling toward GHS compliance, you should figure out next how to get your employees involved in the implementation and keep them aware about chemical hazards. The solution? Put up GHS signs all over your facility.
