Red Cross sets up at local church

The Red Cross has opened several shelters for victims affected by the tornadoes of Tuesday, May 24.

Disaster Action Teams are moving to provide shelter, water, food and emotional support for tornado survivors. Teams are also beginning preliminary damage assessments in several neighborhoods.

The Red Cross has set up its Logan County site at Noble Avenue Baptist Church, in Guthrie, located at 1219 W. Noble.

If you want to help people affected by the tornadoes or other shelters, you can make a donation to American Red Cross Disaster Relief by visiting http://www.okc.redcross.org/. You can also call (405) 228-9500, or text the word “REDCROSS” to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
