El Reno was unable to find the bucket in the third quarter as the Jays outscored the Indians 8-0 before pulling out the 44-13 win.

Carlos Coppage and Braden Davenport each scored four points in the decisive second quarter on their way to a team high six points along with Ja’lyn Morgan, Kevin Blue, and Corey Miller. Ryan Stevenson and Jaron Pryor each added four and Jeremiah Blackmon, Joshoua Honeycutt, and Chase Bufford all had two points.

8th Grade gets redemption

The 8th grade boys team fell short of a tournament championship just a few days ago and took their frustration out on El Reno with a 47-30 win.

Elliott Curry scored a team high 14 points and was followed closely by Beau Davis 13 points. Jeremy Wallis scored seven, Terran Stevenson added three, and Niles Bracket, Ajanaku, Hagan Wano, Jordan Gross, and J’ahri Gassaway all had two points.

Guthrie jumped out to a 15-2 first quarter lead and a 25-9 halftime advantage.
