An impossible recovery: Oklahoma State fullback Kye Staley

Oklahoma State fullback Kye Staley continues his winning ways. The Guthrie product has now won 18 straight games he has participated in dating back to his high school career. However, at one time, it was thought that streak would end at 14.

Coaches still remember the practice. Without hesitation, players can recall the exact play. For those on the field that day, it was hard to forget the sound.

Just recently The Daily O’Collegian, the Oklahoma State University newspaper, talked with Staley and the progress he has made since laying on the field, unable to get up. His season, and likely his football career, was in serious jeopardy.
